The space
The studio is a 90' x 20' barn-like structure on the edge of the cliffs over the sea, and protects the courtyard from the north wind. Sixty-eight feet of continuous full-height glazing opens on the courtyard. This elegant building contains a dramatic double height room with a 40' long table, suitable for large gatherings, banquets, or workshops. The studio contains a loft, two bathrooms, a hearth, leather furnishings and a full kitchen. A 16' x 20' covered porch with a 16' bench faces south. An additional west deck offers a secluded place to watch the sunset over the LaHave estuary.
The studio and the historic octagonal barn can be rented for events, and are ideal for arts workshops, weddings, equestrian vacations, family reunions, or corporate retreats. The entire site can also be rented offering the solitude of "a lost village at the end of the earth". Please contact us for rental details.
